After updating my installation to try out the new desktop, everything works fine until I turn on "menu categories," and then it completely crashes both the taskbar and the dock.
I suspect this may be because I have 13 categories at the top level of the launcher, with 101 applications under them. With a completely blank screen, all I can do is right-click and open Desktop Preferences (I can't access any applications).
Is this a known issue?
