Beginners • Creating a model stage

I’m doing an A level DT project in which I’m creating a model of a stage. I was curious as to how I could implement light, sound, and movement in my model using a Raspberry Pi and accessories, but I’ve never used a Raspberry Pi before. I was hoping I could get some guidance. I want to be able to have lights play different colours for different parts of moments in a song/ have them follow a sequence, but I also want lights that are going to simulate proper concert lighting.
Additionally, things like raising platforms I don't know how I could achieve that on a timer- and music from speakers. I'm interested in how I could get all of this to work together, but I don't know what to buy to actually make this happen.
