We've just done a run of 100+ units using CM5 modules (CM5004032) and out of that batch we've had a few failures - 10 modules in fact which feels high.
All of them can be flashed on the CM5io board but then refuse to boot on the CM5io board or on our custom board.
Symptoms are the same on all of them - the power light (D1) is solid red, the ACT light (D2) never lights, the module draws about 110-150mA of current.
Following the sticky thread I land on "well you managed to blow up your Pi"... is there anything else we can do to diagnose or salvage these modules?
If nothing else I'd like to work out how & why they died - if for example they may have been ESD damaged or something like that so we can take steps to avoid that in future.
