In one of our new design that will host RPi CM4 we can add only one USB connector due to limited space in our PCB. This can be a micro USB or a USB A connector but not both at the same time.
In our design we need to include both options i.e., eMMC (device mode) and attaching a keyboard (host mode). Kindly suggest how this can be implemented. Is that possible to use external USB Mux ?
How do we route ID, OTG and VBUS pins to the external USB Mux and which (one) connector we should use on PCB hosting CM4 ?
