I’ve run into an issue with my Raspberry Pi: after running for some time, it stops acting as a DNS resolver for devices on my network, and at the same time, it becomes unreachable via SSH.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Configured pihole-FTL and Pi-hole with Restart=always in systemd, and also set up a timer to restart the service every 8 hours.
Created a custom wifi-check.service that pings 9.9.9.9 and restarts wlan0 if the connection drops.
Verified that both NetworkManager and DHCP are running and handling the Wi-Fi connection.
Added backup DNS servers in Pi-hole settings to avoid issues when upstream DNS is unavailable.
Unfortunately, none of these measures have solved the problem — the issue still persists.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
