Hi,
I'm considering upgrading to a Raspberry Pi 5 for my spiffy digital music player, but I've been reading that the RPi5 needs a fan to stay cool. I have a RPi4 and that has not needed a fan.
Does the RPi5 really require a fan for light loads like playing FLAC music files? The files could be 24-bit/192kHz resolution, but playing those should not be much of a load on the RPi5.
The bitrate is showing as 12.288M bits/second when I play a 24-bit/192kHz FLAC music file.
The current MoOde player uses MPD 0.24.4
This is the only way I'll be using this particular RPi.
Thanks.
