Greetings Raspberry Pi Community,

I am currently exploring the display capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B ARMv7 Processor rev 4 (v7l) for a project, and I would appreciate some clarification regarding its compatibility with various monitor resolutions.

Specifically, I am interested in knowing the highest resolution monitor that can be effectively connected to the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

Additionally, I have encountered an issue where an Android display with a resolution of 3840x2160 is connected to the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, but the resolution is automatically set to 1920x1080. I am curious to understand if this limitation is inherent to the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B or if there are any configurations or workarounds that could enable the utilization of the display's full resolution.

Could someone kindly provide information or direct me to a reliable resource outlining the maximum supported monitor resolution for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B? Furthermore, any insights or guidance on addressing the aforementioned resolution discrepancy would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and expertise.
