Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.) • Something is generating unwanted I2C traffic

I have a CM4 with RPi OS "Linux testpi 6.12.15-v8+ #1858 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 19 14:50:07 GMT 2025 aarch64 GNU/Linux".

There is constant traffic on i2c-10. I see

Read from 0x49
Write to 0x40
Read from 0x41
Read from 0x49

Repeats every 10ms or so.

What is causing this?
