Beginners • Bookworm & Firefox: Disable pinch to zoom ?

Oh my word, I am going gaga trying to get the pinch to zoom feature killed. I am currently on Bookworm with X11. The Firefox searches say to disable anything “pinch” or “zoom” related in about:config. I have done this with extreme prejudice and yet Firefox is still zooming on pinch. (Edit: so I figure it is something in the bookworm DE?)

Please, please, please: how do I disable pinch to zoom in everything forever and ever amen?
