botspot-screen-recorder is my attempt to make the best Wayland screen recorder possible.
It's a single shell script that cleverly combines mpv, pipewire, yad, and wf-recorder to make a flexible screen recording tool. I'm calling it BSR, an acknowledgement to SimpleScreenRecorder (SSR).
None of the screen recording tools had ready-made options for recording both webcam and screen at once, and both webcam microphone and system audio. Occasionally I need to record video of myself demonstrating various tasks on the computer, so a rudimentary screen capture was insufficient.
