We are evaluating the Raspberry Pi CM4 module for a production system that requires real-time performance. To ensure it meets our requirements, we need to benchmark the real-time kernel latency and test its performance under different conditions.
Could anyone share insights on:
1) The ideal latency expectations for a real-time kernel on the Raspberry Pi CM4?
2) Recommended bench-marking tools and test methodologies for measuring real-time performance?
3) Any existing benchmarks or results from similar setups?
Any guidance or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Note: We have added the PREMPT_RT patch and enabled the real-time kernel.
