Hello
Gentlemen and ladies, I kindly ask you for help and explanation of a basic issue related to PICO.
PICO is to be used in a certain project for which I will use by 20-30 people, it is to be a certain weather station for non standard purpose.
The ability to upgrade the new firmware via USB is important to me.
This is to be a client device, so SWD is out of the question right away.
To the heart of the question, is it possible to upgrade via USB without using the bootsel button and without using the option to transfer the uf2 file to a portable disk that pico creates.
For my project there is a separate application for PC written in C# that allows you to control the device. I would like to know if it is possible to write such a function that from the level of my program on PC puts PICO into the bootsel state without pressing the button and allows the file to be loaded. So I would make such an option in my PC application that a window appears to select a uf2 file, or BIN or whatever will work and then the upgrade button on app.
Can anyone help? I know of commercial products based on PICO on the market and that's how they work. I'm looking for any bit of knowledge, a tutorial on how to do it.
I'd be very grateful for any help
