Troubleshooting • Raspberry Pi 5 - Welcome to Raspberry Pi Desktop

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with my Raspberry Pi. When I boot it up, it gets stuck on the "Welcome to the Raspberry Pi Desktop" screen (see attached image) and doesn't proceed to the login prompt.

Some additional details:

- I use Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit), Release 5.3 (July 2024).
- I never see the login prompt, so I can’t enter any credentials.
- Rebooting doesn't solve the issue.


I’ve tried:

- Power cycling the device multiple times.
- Ensuring the SD card is properly seated and functioning (tested on another device).

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to troubleshoot it?
