Good evening,
I did start a thread on this, but it got locked for inactivity (I got distracted with another project
)
Original thread HEREviewtopic.php?t=351712
So, had a bit of an upgrade. Went out and got myself a 5 and a wide angle camera module
Kit list;
Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB)
Raspberry Pi OS 12 (Bookworm)
Waveshare Pan-Tilt HAT
Raspberry Pi Camera module V3 (Mounted to P/T HAT)
Waveshare 5MP 170° Camera module
So, the plan is to use the fisheye lens to track the movement on the pitch and tell the P/T HAT where to point...
Again, I am kind of starting from scratch...
P/T moves where I tell it to
BOTH Cameras work
OPEN CV installed, but then I am stumped...
I watched the talk by Zack Akil https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2UNijCq-v4 and I like what he did with his (using Machine Learning) But I have no clue how to get it to work.
Happy to research, but I've hit a wall, so any help or guidance would be really appreciated.
