Hi,
I'm encountering issues with the AI Camera on my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, and I hope someone can help me troubleshoot. Here are the details:
Setup:
- Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
- Latest Raspbian OS (Linux 6.6.51, released October 2024)
- The same camera cable works fine with the Camera Module V2
- libcamera and imx500 packages are installed
Problem:
- AI Camera Not Detected: The AI Camera isn’t recognized, and commands like libcamera-hello or libcamera-still don’t produce any output.
- The AI Camera causes long boot times, and I see a message in dmesg:
- fresh OS
- Re-running udevadm trigger
- Tested with two AI Cameras
- Reinstalled imx500-all, libcamera-apps, and libcamera-dev
- Set gpu_mem=128 in /boot/config.txt
- Used different power adapters and cables
- Swapped multiple camera cables
If anyone has experienced something similar or knows how to fix the deferred probe issue, I’d appreciate any help.
Thanks!
