Beginners • Using a Pi to substitute for a NAS seeding torrents

I have just finished building a 4 HD NAS and part of it's use will be downloading torrent media. It uses Jacket, Radarr, Sonarr, qbittorrent and Jellyfin to serve the TV.

At the moment it needs to be online for seeding that which it has downloaded.

I also have a Pi4 which has served me well for many years downloading and seeding torrents, being online 24/7 at little cost.

It occurs to me a cost saving could be made if the NAS were to find and download torrents and the Pi were to seed those torrents instead of the NAS. It would mean having two copies of each media and that which is on the Pi could be removed after it's seeding period has elapsed. This would keep the size of storage needed down.

It seems all that needs to be done is somehow swap the torrent source connection from the NAS automatically to the Pi after each download.

Has anyone come across this use and if so can point me in the right direction to achieve this?

My apologies if this request should be in another thread.
