Raspberry Pi Desktop for PC and Mac • No boot options

Hi folks, new to this so any help appreciated. I had an old Acer Aspire tablet/PC that had windows 10 installed. I have tried today to install Pi Desktop thereon and it went through the installation process. There was a query about UEFI and accessing the old OS and I said I wasnt bothered about this. After Pi installation though I now just get a message indicating no bootable media detected. The hard drive is not visible from the BIOS. Trying to boot from USB also fails.

Any ideas please?
