Asking for a friend, obviously, since I am a happy customer of a hosting service already.
Said acquaintance is looking for a provider that can do:
domain name registration
email hosting service supporting ~10 mailbox addresses (ideally supporting forwarding)
They do NOT want to have a web server, just myname@mydomain.co.uk [obviously not that domain name!] and hence, do not want to pay a huge amount of money annually.
Couple of existing domain names, one is a .co.uk, the other a .com, if that matters.
If anyone can suggest companies, that would be good. Again, I will reiterate - they do not want a webserver, if there was one, they wouldn't want to do anything with it anyway - apparently not everyone is obsessed with being online all the time...
