I am looking to install Pi OS and another Linux flavor on a 256GB NVMe drive and was thinking upon boot it would ask me to select which partition I would like to boot from, or what OS I would like. I make this assumption as I have only really worked with Windows and know that you can press a key on boot and select where you want to boot from. What I have read and tried I don't think the later is an option, but if the drive had two partitions and both were /boot would that work?
Firstly, is what I am trying to do possible? I have looked into it and believe I need gparted so I can partition the drive into two.
Secondly, I tried just installing a single Linux OS on the drive using Imager, but upon taking the SD card out and rebooting it just goes through a failure loop where it checks the SD slot, then onto the USB slot for 25 seconds and back to the SD to try the loop again.
Any guidance or links to documentation would be appreciated, what I have not tried is manually changing the boot order.
