Hi,

Just got my new Raspberry Pi 5. Was able to install Raspberry Pi OS and Ubuntu on a micdoSD card. The system boots without a problem from the microSD slot, but when I try to boot the same SD card using USB-3 port, the window manager fails to start. I was able to resolve this problem by switching the window manager from Wayfire to X11. My question is, is it possible to use Wayfire manager when booting from USB port? These are some error messages I see in the journal log when using Waifire:

Jul 20 18:45:32 raspberrypi lightdm[2629]: instance with invalid (NULL) class pointer
Jul 20 18:45:32 raspberrypi lightdm[2629]: g_signal_emit_valist: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed
Jul 20 18:45:32 raspberrypi systemd-logind[705]: Session c4 logged out. Waiting for processes to exit.
Jul 20 18:45:32 raspberrypi systemd[1]: lightdm.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Jul 20 18:45:32 raspberrypi systemd[1]: lightdm.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.

Thank you,
Victor
