Learning about 5v relay's and Raspberry Pi.
I was using a cheap 5v relay, active low.
The goal of course is to be able to toggle the relay on/off via python.
I have been having problems. With Python, I can initially activate it, but cannot toggle it.
I have read here: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopi ... 8#p1225448
Before I delve into the technical aspect (I am a beginner with electronics), can I just change the relay?
Is my understanding correct that I can solve most of my problems by just returning the 5v relay, and buying a 3.3v relay, such as here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CFHXLT5D?psc ... yp_imgToDp ?
This relay thing has at least got me learning more about the 3.3 and 5 volt pins, and how signaling works.
