Beginners • sysbench misbehaving ?

I love my 8 GB Pi 5 which I bought to act as a regular desktop computer, and as a replacement for my 11 year old laptop running Windows. When I booted it this afternoon, I was offered some sort of system update, which I accepted. Then I tried to run sysbench, and got the terminal output shown in the attached screenshot. Surely something has gone wrong somewhere ? ? ?
