I would like to create a simple darts scorer using a pico, an alphanumeric keypad (or buttons connected to GPIO) and an LCD display. You start by entering either 501 or 301 to set the game type and then it alternates between players accepting each inputted scored and subtracting it from the previous value and displaying it against the player until you’ve won. I’m confident with the hardware aspects but not with the software. Has anyone created anything like this? If not where do I start? It it a micro python program in thonny? Guess I will need to learn some programming.
